L.A. and Omaha residents, Cher & Gene Klosner, a sister-brother, singer/songwriter duo, have been performing their harmony driven acoustic piano/guitar/vocals sound across the country for many years. Having grown up on Motown, Elton John, Gershwin, Ella Fitzgerald, Fleetwood Mac and Broadway musicals, their music flows seamlessly from Indie Pop to the Blues, with the common thread being their rich vocal arrangements that have been described as "audible chocolate." They created their own label and have independently sold over 25,000 CD's and several thousand downloads to date.

Performance/appearance highlights include World Youth Day, with the Pope, the President and a half million teens from around the world, US Olympic Swim Trials, The Grand Ole Opry, 2007-2010 College World Series, CNBC’s “The Big Idea," “American Magazine,” "2010 Bank of the West Celebration," (opening for Kansas, Foreigner and Styx), the 6-city Autumn Festival and Spring Festival tours, and many 9/11 tribute events in New York and L.A.

Cher & Gene Klosner have performed at colleges, festivals, and have been heard on commercials, and various TV and animation projects produced by Cher's husband, Emmy-award-winning "The Simpsons" Animator/Asst. Director, Ben Lane. Their song "Please Don't Send Me Fruitcake," from "Ribbons and Pine" was featured on the nationally syndicated Dr. Demento show, recorded by The von Trapp Children, and has been performed by many symphonies across the U.S., Canada, and Europe.

Cher & Gene Klosner were commissioned by The United in Memory Foundation to compose a song for the unveiling of the United in Memory 9/11 Memorial Quilt, which took place aboard the Queen Mary in Long Beach, California. The resulting song, "Tower of Love,”  was also performed in New York on the second and third anniversaries of 9/11 at the opening ceremonies of the United in Memory 9/11 Memorial Quilt display.  "Tower of Love" has since been used in many 9/11 memorial tributes.

Cher and Gene released their fourth CD, Stardust – a multiple award-winning,  two-disc collection of lullabies for all ages, many of which were sung to them as children by their own mom, and that Cher now sings to her own little boy, Benjamin. Stardust features a veritable Who's Who list of musicians from the Midwest and LA, including members of the Omaha Symphony, the Omaha Conservatory of Music and top shelf jazz players. Stardust is a winner of 10 prestigious national parenting awards including, Disney's “iParenting Media Awards – Best Products – Audio,” a “Parents’ Choice” Award, a Creative Child “Preferred Choice” Award, and a Parents With Style Award. Stardust has recently been added to the very selective Pandora Internet Radio.
